Antarta Space Food Lands On Antarctica

In 2023 Antarta’s space food once again reached Antarctica to support Bulgarian polar scientists and researchers. The food was first brought to Antarctica in the 1990s by Dr. Solomon Passy, and since then, it has proven indispensable in the polar environment. Its exceptional compactness, minimal weight, high nutritional value, user-friendly packaging, and extremely long shelf life—without the need for special storage conditions or procedures—make it irreplaceable for polar and high-altitude expeditions, sports, sailing, space missions, and other specialized activities.

Antarta’s products have also demonstrated their utility during fieldwork in Antarctic expeditions conducted by scientists and military personnel. They provide quick, effortless, tasty, healthy, and filling meals, making them ideal for use in challenging or extreme conditions.

During this year’s 31st Bulgarian polar expedition, he conducted an integrated study of the ‘sediment, biota, and water’ components of the littoral ocean ecosystem of Livingstone Island, Antarctica.
